On 4th and 5th June, 2018 a bilateral meeting of Bulgarian Air Traffic Services Authority (BULATSA) and Serbia and Montenegro Air Traffic Services SMATSA LLC (SMATSA LLC) was held in Sofia.

Mr Predrag Jovanović, the CEO, represented Serbia and Montenegro Air Traffic Services SMATSA LLC together with his associates.

The meeting was devoted to current cooperation review, exchange of the experiences and planes for future relations development of the two regionally important providers of air traffic control services. The meeting was conducted in very open and friendly atmosphere.

General Directors’ perspectives of corporative cooperation were particularly discussed, as well as operational issues referring Belgrade and Sofia Air Traffic Control Centres. Also, opinions concerning current initiatives in the region of South East Europe in Air Traffic Management domain were exchanged as well as experiences and planes for modernization of both providers and further steps for cooperation enhancement and relationship development at all levels were agreed.

The next meeting of the two providers at the operational executives’ level will be held in Belgrade in Air Traffic Control Centre at the second half of October this year.
