“We Continue to Make Good news”

On the 2nd July 2018, the first multimedia exhibition of Serbian infrastructure was opened in the Main Railway Station building in Savska Street.

This prodigious exhibition named “We Continue to Make Good News” was organized in order to mark the first year of the RS Government′s work. Mrs. Zorana Mihajlović, the Minister, opened the exhibition.

Great granddaughter of Victor Nikitin, one of the first three pilots of “Aeroput” which later on became JAT and Air Serbia, Nina Nikitin, the cadet of SMATSA Aviation Academy in Vršac, also addressed to the visitors during the opening ceremony.

“I was in Australia too and I have travelled through Europe but I have always wanted to come back to my home, to Serbia and to become pilot here. So I returned and now I am learning in one of the best pilots’ academies in which great people and excellent experts are working and this is the best proof that our aviation is the part of the Europe and the world  “ – she said. During this occasion Nina gave aircraft model to the Minister Mihajlović.

Representatives of diplomatic corps, Belgrade Major as well as many other numerous guests and visitors were also present at the exhibition opening. During the exhibition days all of them had an opportunity to remind themselves of what had been done in the domain of traffic, infrastructure and construction.

All companies as well as enterprises working within this Ministry had their exhibition stands such as Serbia and Montenegro Air Traffic Services SMATSA LLC, Roads of Serbia, Corridors, Air Serbia, Belgrade on the water, Geodetic Institute.

Serbia and Montenegro Air Traffic Services SMATSA LLC is pleased that it was a part of such an exhibition, having an opportunity to present its operating methods and projects realizations to the citizens.

During the three days′ exhibition the visitors could see the equipment which companies used in air traffic. They were particularly attracted by pilots, aircraft models, communication between air traffic control officers and airborne aircraft crew.

The visitors had an opportunity to see Tito’s “Blue train”, as well as the most sophisticated trains of our Railways. They also saw road construction machines, cylinders, diggers, quick electric vehicle chargers, drones, boats, together with kid corner for the youngest.

During the exhibition days ticket counters were turned into institutions′ and public enterprises′ offices and their employees wore typical uniforms of the pilots, air traffic control officers, railway workers, road menders, stewardesses, chiefs of port master offices.
